well a movie Panipat battle III is being released in India and generally every body knows that muslims under Ahmad Shah Abdali defeated the Marhatta Empire but they wanna show that muslim won because of their treachery But that is not the case at all . Panipat Battle III when fought the mighty marhatta empire that constituted about 80% of present India were beaten by afghan Pashtun tribal forces who had all gathered under Ahmad shah abdali and defeated the marhattas in an all out battle
So now that the marhattas back was completely broken , ahmad shah abdali was controling india now But the tribal tribes like Afridis, Khatak, Bangash, Durrani, mehsood, Wazir, Orakzai,Uthmanzai & Yousafzai ,etc etc went back to their homeland for they were not an army but ethnic group of warrior people as like always in such instances in Indian conquest like the case of mehmood Ghaznavi, Taimur 1398, Nadir Shah Asfar 1734 ,etc . Those past conquerors always went back and left an heir there like Ayaz in Ghaznavi 's case or Ahmed Sha Durrani in Abdali 's case
so after waiting for ten years the marhattas were waiting for the afghan tribes to go back so that they can take over delhi .So correction: Marhatta empire never took back delhi from Pashtuns or Abdalis But other indian muslims groups that were now controlling delhi with handful of pashtun and abdali son So marhatta took back delhi from indian muslims and not pashtuns like I said earlier they were warrior tribes not an organized state army so they went back instantly once the war was won by Muslims
Another way to do the analysis of Pashtun and Marhatta empire strength comparison will be how both fought against British empire
So here is the result of Anglo Marhatta battles
1) Anglo Marhatta battle 1 result: Marhatta won (1775–1782)
2) Anglo Marhatta battle 2 result: British Won ( 27000 British ,
10000 Marhatta soldiers) marhatta lost 80 % of its empire (1803–1806)
3)Anglo Marhatta battle 3 result: British won (End of Marhatta
Empire ) (1817–1818)
Now Coming to Anglo Afghan Wars
here are the results
1) Anglo-Afghan War 1 : Pashtun Victory 1842 ( completely
retook the captured territory of afghans by afghan tribes)
2) Anglo-Afghan War 2: British Victory 1878–1880 ( 22
different battles British won at 12 fronts , Afghans at 10
fronts)
A British complete withdraw from Afghanistan 1881
3) Anglo Afghan war 3: Pashtun Tribes Victory 1919 ( Afghan
independence with full sovereignty in foreign affairs) They
never retook and capture Afghanistan again
Analysis:
1) So analyzing Marhatta anglo & Anglo Afghan wars we know that marhatta won 1 battle but then lost two others and completely lost all of their territory
2) BUT Pashtuns Won 2 battles and lost 1 and with second victory Afghan had independence with full sovereignty in foreign affairs
3) Even in anglo afghan II that english won pashtuns had regained territory of Afghanistan as British left Afghanistan in 1881 So even in this 1 battle lost out of three pashtuns had diplomatic victories
4) So Marhatta lost two battles and lost all their territory and Pashtuns Won 2 out of 3 and did not lost their territory and had concluded with Pashtun Victory and after that british never conquered or captured Afghanistan
Conclusion for Pashtuns: Outcome of Anglo Afghan wars was that Afghan had independence with full sovereignty in foreign affairs
Conclusion for Marhatta: Outcome of Marhatta Anglo wars was that Marhatta Empire perished forever
So I hope facts are clear as they say " Facts matters not feelings" For all of that facts mentioned above are taken from historical books by british and Pro Marhatta authors and not by Pashtun books as Pashtuns are not let say on the smart side and they are known for not writing their history and are easily divided against each other and are responsible for their demise and last but not least the Pushtuns
commit terrible social vices like for instance
1) Smuggling
2) Human Trafficking
3) Drugs
4) illegal weaponry to kill Rival tribe members
5) homosexual harassment of teenage boys That is why they will have a fall and will be laughing stock for the rest of the world
6) Gets Brain Washed by extremists hired by their own government like in the 60s & 70s to become men killing Machines and terrorist to fight USSR (Russia) for foreign powers in so called Mujahideen Madrasas To Blow Innocent people or the present massacre in Afghanistan
I will talk about how Pashtuns and marhattas came to respect each other as both fought bravely and there was even respectful deliveries of the brave warriors' dead bodies on both side Hope the upcoming movie "Panipat III " will do justice to history and will show the side in which both parties came to respect each other
