Why did the beautiful piece of art of 21st century Tolkien failed

D & D failing on Danearys Tygarean 's characters was not the real reason the show failed in fact this was like a last nail in the coffin of already ruined show since its big drop in viewer ship ratings for cutting of the plot line of Night King so indirectly cutting five books and seven seasons plot of Jon's big moment of killing his guy the night king

1) Arya Killing Night king , A Jon snow thing , and danearys fighting the real fight on dragon and attacking and firing even night king while Jon was rolling around in mud so ( Bad Direction )

2) Brienne of Tarth being knighted had no link with the story line of Song of Ice & Fire

3) Jon and Tyrion being completely overshadowed by minor characters for 90 percent of the season till episode 6

4) little lady mermont being picked up by the big giant in a way that " come on my lady I will pick you up and you can stabb me in the eye" silly Armor plots

5) If you read the book the concept of Azor Ahai/ Song of Ice & Fire/ prince who was promised was always coming and Jon always being its embodiment and Daenerys being the personification of wife/lover Nissa Nissa that Ahai sacrificed to safe the world But yes how they brought it should definitely be criticize

The real reason GOT Season 8 failed according to stats was after episode 3 when rating came down from 90% to 67% for episode 3 after the end of Night King so subsequently the whole plot line of Jon was ruined .Never had an episode of GOT has seen such big drop for a show averaging 90% nelson rating

In fact to speak the truth Jon Snow was the song of ice and fire and the prince who was promise and Azor Ahai through his blood being half stark ( ice ) and Taygarean ( fire) and when the fact that Jon was Aegon Tygarean and true Heir to the iron throne , by medieval law of succession as well as modern 21st century law of succession , was revealed so it completely shattered the concept of Bran/Danearyas/Tyrion being the Prince( Princess) that was promise as Jon was now the true song of ice and fire through his blood

The second contender for being the song of Ice and Fire was in fact Night King through his abilities like wielding Ice naturally and Fire through the Dragon

So Jon being the song or Night King being the song is a reflection of RR Martin real believes that there is no pure Good or Evil but every one own perception of looking at things , the only place where his writing style differs from his inspiration RR Tolkien , and this unique writing out of the box fantasy writing was the reason that he is hailed now equal to his hero RR Tolken and considered the " The Tolkien of 21st century "

So correction ( in my personal opinion ) it was D & D Failing on the characters of first Jon snow/ Aegon tygarean / Song of Ice & fire /Prince that was promised and an True Heir to Iron throne and an moral heir to protagonist of season 1 and book 1 Ned Stark character and protagonist of season 2 , 3 and Book 2 ,3 Robb Stark character that caused the demise of GOT whole legacy and secondly the Night King childish ending and after his death and his episode the show had it fall and never recovered as the story for which Jon was famous for , the leader facing the Night King was done some thing that the fans were anticipating for seven years

So if you see the trade mark of GOT were quotes like " Winter is coming " and "You know nothing Jon Snow" meaning majority of the people watched thrones for the north and beyond the wall for Night King and primarily Jon the heir to Robb and Ned stark character morally just like we knew the breaking bad trade mark was " The guy who knocks" or " Lets cook etc" meaning that Walter white was the real fan attraction and not Saul or Skylar or Guss etc

So it was simply failing on the harry potter of the Game of thrones and Song of Ice & Fire franchise " Jon Snow" that caused it failure

So martin work was never followed if it was the outcome would have revolved around The Song of Ice & fire ( Jon ) and his arch enemy night king that they completely ruined after the killing Night King , so instantly they destroyed the plot line of Jon Snow I mean they could have proceeded to king landing but after following RR martin style by exploring Night King more and killing him or killing Jon so cementing his way of writing and if they could have done that then the road to the concept Azor Azai ( Jon ) stabbing Nissa Nissa ( the lover of ahai) would have have completely understandable

So if they could have just truly explored Jon and Night King and the concept of song of ice and fire (the book name from where the show takes it name) then they easily could have worked out the character of Daenerys and how she would have sacrificed her life for Azor Ahai and then Azor could have save the world and not the " Danearys going all insane" plot

So after the failure of GOT we should only now read and cherish the RR Martin style of magical fantasy writing , a piece of art , through his Books the song of ice and fire
